How did you get into triathlon?
I saw the ad in Competitor Magazine and thought it would be the next logical step after marathons.

How long have you been doing triathlon?
Since 2008

Favorite workout?
Boxing/Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, @ the gym: 30 mins. of cardio then lifting weights.

Do you have training partners?
The other members from Fit 2 Train, my trainers from the gym, from Plano Martial Arts, Master Craig Hamman

Best Race?
White Rock Half, finished in under 2 hours on my first one.

Worst Race?
Austin Marathon, I did not take into account that there are many hills in Austin.

Why you do triathlons?
I love the combination of swimming, cycling and running because I am not getting burned out on one thing and it seems to avoid injuries.

What's next for you?
Hotter than Hell 100 in August, Blackland Tri in September

Most embarrassing moment doing sports?
Having to utilize "kayak support" during first 100 m of Iron Girl.

Running Shoe that you wear?

What time do you wake up?
8:00 am, no 5:30 am runs for me!

Favorite song to train to?
Anything Hip-Hop, rap

Out of all 3 sports- which is your favorite?

What kind of food do you eat during a workout?
Sport beans by Jelly Belly, Extend in my H2O.

Spouse/Significant Other?
My children are the most important thing to me and my dogs!

Other sports interest?
Tae Kwon Do- first degree black, Combat Hapkido-red belt, Boxing, Kickboxing, In-line skating, indoor Rock Climbing

Something that you like to do that is not sports related?
Spend time with my children, volunteering at animal shelter and soup mobile.

Favorite TV show/movie?
No time for TV. Hangover

Greatest motivator?
Setting a good example for my children, staying healthy and in shape, I love to exercise!

Martial Arts, walk dogs at Second Chance SPCA, serve my homeless friends with Soup Mobile.
