How did you get into triathlon?
I enjoyed working out but had gotten tired of going to the gym and working out without a purpose. I decided I could use a little competition

How long have you been doing triathlon?
I did my first in late September - TexasMan (Sprint).

Favorite workout?
Not sure...depends on the day, but probably a swim.

Do you have training partners?

Best Race?
Toyota U.S. Open (Olympic). Absolutely loved it.

Worst Race?
I did feel like I was going to drown at the TexasMan (it was my first open water swim).

Why you do triathlons?
It is a good way to stay in shape and I enjoy the feeling of competition.

What's next for you?
Maybe a few runs or Duathlons this winter.

Most embarrassing moment doing sports?
Probably falling while running (well least that's the most embrassing thing I'll mention)

Running Shoe that you wear?
Asics (with IGS on the back...I have really flat feet)

What time do you wake up?
Between 5:00 and 6:00

Favorite song to train to?
Don't really listen to music while training

Out of all 3 sports- which is your favorite?
In the races, I have really enjoyed the runs.

What kind of food do you eat during a workout?
Gels if I'm going much over an hour, or maybe some fruit when switching between sports.

Something that you like to do that is not sports related?
Habitat for Humanity...after sitting in front of a computer at work all week its nice to get out and do something with my hands

Forrest Gump, Band of Brothers, The Office

1 LT Tim Cunningham (his name is on a black band, or Hero Bracelet, I wear on my wrist)

I was a history major before I switched to engineering

What do you like to do to get away from triathlon?
Play golf, read, have a few beers with friends
