How did you get into triathlon?
Ran Cross Country and Track in High school (Jr. and Sr. year only) and College(4 years) and then added biking after college. Then started hearing about Triathlons and thought "Hey I like to bike and run, and I also know how to swim. Lets give it a try."

How long have you been doing triathlon?
First ever Race was in 2009.

Favorite workout?
Brick workout: 2 mile Run, 30min Bike, 3 mile Run, 30min Bike, 3 mile Run Run Workout: Michigan(ask and I will tell you)

Do you have training partners?
Mainly for biking, but like to run alone

Best Race?
The Best is yet to come.....

Worst Race?
I don't have bad races..... Just ones that teach or challenge me more than others.

Why you do triathlons?
Because I love to run, bike, and swim, and I do love them in that order too.

What's next for you?
Getting faster

Most embarrassing moment doing sports?
I am sure there are tons of them, but none come to mind.

Running Shoe that you wear?
KSWISS Racing Flats for hard workouts\Races, and Asics for easy runs

What time do you wake up?
On workout days: 4-6. Non-workout days: ~7.

Favorite song to train to?
The sound of my own breath.

Out of all 3 sports- which is your favorite?
RUN. RUN. RUN.

What kind of food do you eat during a workout?
Powerbar Vanilla Gels

Favorite food (regular)?
Anything my wife cooks...... and rarely from a cook book

KU College Basketball, and any college team playing Kentucky

Volunteering

Encouragement from others, and Quotes.

Hometown?
Born in Omaha, NE but moved to North Ft. Worth when I was 8, and been here ever since.

Interesting fact about yourself?
Finished 1st Overall in my first Triathlon. Mile PR: 4:54.6

What do you like to do to get away from triathlon?
Spend time with my wife and friends. Also, relax as much as possible and watch SportsCenter and the News.
