How did you get into triathlon?
Challenged the week before it by a friend to do the Tom Landry last year - survived it and loved tri! Finally found a home for another one of my compulsions...

How long have you been doing triathlon?
1 season

Favorite workout?
Swimming - I'm part fish (whale...yeah, I know, they're not technically fish - give me a break)); then bike. While the Far Side suggests Hell will be a place where everyone has a banjo, for me, Hell would be a treadmill...

Do you have training partners?
Some TEAM in Training buddies - still haven't had a chance to meet F2T folks yet.

Best Race?
Miami Man 2006

Worst Race?
River Cities 2006 - late start, super hot water, massive humidity...had to walk most of the way

Why you do triathlons?
Love it, plain and simple

What's next for you?
St. Anthony's in April, then Buffalo Lakes Springs - then Ironman Florida next November...all fundraising for TEAM in Training and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Most embarrassing moment doing sports?

Running Shoe that you wear?
Mizuno Wave Nirvana - and it's embarrassed to be seen on me. Keeps telling me it's a running shoe, not a shuffling shoe.

What time do you wake up?

Favorite song to train to?
Most of the first side of Yessongs - especially on the trainer.

Out of all 3 sports- which is your favorite?

What kind of food do you eat during a workout?
The usual stuff - gels, pancakes, bananas.

Favorite food (regular)?

Spouse/Significant Other?

Other sports interest?
Used to be a pretty fair tennis player.

Something that you like to do that is not sports related?
Read, teach Ethics, write, watch TV, sleep. I'm a SCUBA Instructor but I haven't had much time to get underwater recently

Favorite TV show/movie?
Law & Order, House, Boston Legal - any sports broadcast

Greatest motivator?
You never know what you can do or how much longer you've got to find out

Pelham, NY

Interesting fact about yourself?
There is nothing interesting about me that's factual. Check out my dreams, however:

What do you like to do to get away from triathlon?
Read, watch TV, teach, sleep, SCUBA - don't get enough of any of these...
